Healthy pink gums
Healthy pink gums should be firm and pink. The space (pockets) between the gum and the jawbone should be shallow and should not bleed. In cases of periodontitis, these pockets are inflamed and the bacteria within them can cause the pockets to become deeper and infect the bone.
Treatment Plan
Gingivitis is fairly easy to resolve by means of dental cleaning to reduce the existing dental plaque and tartar. In our clinic, we make a tailor-made treatment plan in which the dentist and dental hygenist help advise you about optimizing the health of your gums and jawbone.
